Circuits, a groundbreaking transactional video-on-demand platform that serves as a virtual cinema for African films and series, is set to launch globally on December 20, 2024.

Designed to showcase the best of African storytelling, Circuits is set to redefine the way audiences engage with African titles, bringing premium entertainment to homes worldwide.

“Circuits provides an innovative last-mile infrastructure for scripted and unscripted African titles, giving filmmakers a global stage while allowing customers to access brand-new, premium African titles,” said Chioma Onyenwe, VP Content at Circuits.

She went on: “Starting December 20, viewers can enjoy critically acclaimed movies like Asiri Ade for a fraction of the cost of a cinema ticket, all from the comfort of their homes. With its loan-to-watch viewing model, users can screen titles within 24 hours of purchase, ensuring convenience and flexibility.

“Circuits is more than a platform; it’s a movement to empower African creatives to tell our uniquely African stories on a global scale.

“Circuits ensures premium content delivery with features like ad-free movies, global access, multi-language support, wide device compatibility and internet speed adaptability.

“By launching with Asiri Ade, a film that masterfully blends politics, love, and intrigue, we are setting the tone for a premium entertainment experience.”

Asiri Ade, directed by Adeoluwa Owu, aka Captain Degzy, features a stellar cast including Bolanle Ninolowo, Mike Afolarin, Omowunmi Dada, Gabriel Afolayan, Fathia Williams, and Akin Lewis.

The epic romance thriller delves into the power struggles, hidden romances, and high-stakes drama of two kingdoms navigating a royal union.
