K.S.M. Shopnill Chowdhury Shohag, a seasoned Bangladeshi businessman and Managing Director of Blue Dream Group, has shared crucial advice for budding entrepreneurs and struggling business leaders.
With over a decade of experience, Shohag noted the value of transparency, quality, and focused growth in small business management.
Shohag pointed out that many businesses from 12 years ago are no longer around, emphasizing that sustainable success hinges on trust and quality.
“Many companies we heard about 12 years ago are no longer in business. What matters most in business is transparency, quality products, and building trust. It’s advisable to start small and earn big rather than starting big and earning small.”
“It’s wise to start small and build progressively rather than start big and struggle,” he advised, noting that gradual growth fosters stability and allows entrepreneurs to refine their offerings over time.
Acknowledging the role of failure, Shohag encouraged entrepreneurs to view setbacks as learning opportunities.
Rather than giving up, he recommends analyzing areas for improvement, stressing that continuous learning and adaptation are critical to long-term success.
Reflecting on his own journey to building his clothing brand, Blue Dream Group, Shohag highlighted how prioritizing quality and meeting customer expectations has been central to his approach.
