The late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, who represented Anambra South Senatorial District, has been laid to rest in his hometown, Otolo Nnewi, Anambra State.
Senator Ubah, re-elected to the 10th Senate under the platform of the Young Progressives Party (YPP), passed away in London on July 27.
Sharing photos from the solemn event, Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo paid a heartfelt tribute.

He remarked, “Today, I was in Nnewi to pay my last respect to the late Senator Ifeanyi Ubah.
“He was more than a senator. He was a younger brother and a friend, always brimming with life and enthusiasm.

“May his gentle soul rest in peace.”

The funeral ceremony was attended by numerous dignitaries, including Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia North, former Senate President Bukola Saraki, and Senator Victor Umeh of Anambra Central, among others.
