Foremost Nigerian youth representative, Morris Monye’s Krypton FC, has officially joined the Lagos Liga competition
Krypton FC is co-owned by Morris Money and Jesse Benedict.
In an announcement made on Friday, 1st November, 2024 in a post via Lagos Liga verified X handle.
Morris Monye and a few others have their clubs named as participants in the Lagos Liga competition.
Vanguard had reported that D’banj and Don Jazz are also owners of football clubs in the Lagos Liga league.
Morris Monye’s club ownership is coming on the heels of his appointment as Delta State e-sport executive, a position he has used to promote youth development and skill acquisition.
The Lagos Liga is one of Africa’s biggest private leagues where non-professional footballers and former players come to play 7-aside football for big prizes and the fans come to win in the skills challenge. Lagos Liga is one of several multi-city private leagues.
