Ondo council polls: NNPP starts sale of forms

The Ondo State chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has begun selling Expression of Interest and Nomination forms for the January 18, 2025, local government elections.

According to State Publicity Secretary Oluwafemi Olaleye, the form sales will run from September 30 to October 18, 2024. Interested aspirants are encouraged to secure their candidacy for various local government positions.

To promote inclusivity, NNPP is offering:

50% discount on nomination forms for women, Persons Living with Disabilities (PWDs), and youths aged 30 and below.

A flat rate for the Expression of Interest form.

Olaleye stated that NNPP aims to empower diverse candidates to represent all segments of society, focusing on development, transparency, and accountability.

“The upcoming elections will usher in a new era of governance,” he said. “NNPP is committed to grassroots democracy and broader participation in the electoral process.”

Aspiring candidates are urged to take advantage of this opportunity to engage in grassroots governance.”
