Ace music video director, ThankGod Jesam popularly known as TG Omori has assured his fans that he will back to directing music video in year 2025.
Recall that TG Omori, in a post on X, formerly Twitter on August 27 announced that he failed a kidney transplant and asked his supporters and Nigerians to pray for him.
He wrote: “Yesterday, my only brother gave me one of his kidney so I could live again. One year after my kidney crashed I just had a failed transplant at St Nicolas Lagos. Pray for me.
“Went into this theater 3times, wasn’t just destined to die today.”
He disclosed two days later that he was feeling better, noting that he can’t wait to get back to work.
“Up and grateful o lord. (Sadly I can’t backflip). Thank you all for the prayers and well wishes, I’m healing now from the stitches of the failed one, I’ll continue the fight, been on it for past a year or two and I can’t back down now.
“Love y’all so much. Can’t wait to make New crowded music videos for y’all,” he posted.
In a series of tweets on Monday, September 23, the music video director disclosed that he is optimistic of staying alive, stating that he will overpower all the pains.
“It’s mind over matter, If the mind is defeated is just a matter of time before the body falls. Pain has no power over me.”
He added that he will return to churning out music videos in year 2025.
“Hope this designers cover this scars. I’ll be back 2025. Stay in love!”
The 29-year-old has worked with different A-list artistes including Wizkid, Burna Boy, Olamide, Kizz Daniel, Falz, Timaya, to mention a few.
He also has some awards to his name, including Best Music Video Director of the Year at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2019, AFRIMMA Best Music Video Director of the Year in 2020, The Headies Best Music Video Director of the Year in 2022 – and a host of other nominations.
