Brave Achievers, a U.S.-based non-profit organization, is set to host its inaugural Re-Invent X Summit in Lagos, Nigeria, from November 20-22, 2024. The summit aims to empower Nigerians with cutting-edge generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) skills and foster the growth of Nigeria’s tech ecosystem.

The three-day summit will feature keynote speeches from global tech leaders, hands-on workshops, networking opportunities and panel discussions on various AI topics. Participants will have the chance to learn from industry experts and thought leaders from around the world, including Chrissie Cremers, Dr. James Ong, Yinka Fayomi, Michael Ramsbacker, Lydie Ngo Nogol, Andeed Ma, Adesunmbo Adeoye, Peter Nilsson, Tokunbo Smith, Godslove Chinekwe, Bernadette Emerson, Akin Olasupo, and Anne Saliu.

The summit will also include a 24-hour hackathon with a ₦3 million prize, an AI startup pitch competition, and a job fair. These activities will provide participants with opportunities to showcase their skills, network with potential employers, and contribute to the development of Nigeria’s tech industry.

Pamela Olomola, Founder and Chief Experience Officer at Brave Achievers, emphasized the importance of this summit in addressing the challenges of underrepresentation and the skills gap in Nigeria’s tech sector. “Re-Invent X is about equipping Nigerians with the AI skills necessary to drive social and economic progress,” she said.

The summit is expected to attract tech enthusiasts, professionals and industry leaders from across Nigeria and beyond.
