Rooted in two cultures, So Kahina’s story is one of both personal and cultural richness. Born in France and having lived in Morocco for five to six years, she developed a strong connection to her heritage, which she maintains through frequent trips to the country. Her pride in her Moroccan roots is palpable and continues to shape her life. 

Currently studying psychology, So Kahina has always had a deep love for animals. This love turned into action when she opened an animal shelter in Marrakech last summer, fulfilling a childhood dream. The shelter focuses on rescuing mistreated cats from the streets, providing them with the care and protection they desperately need. 

One of the most important relationships in So Kahina’s life is with her mother, whom she lovingly calls “la petite dame.” They share a close, almost inseparable bond, with her mother often making appearances in So Kahina’s social media content. 

Years ago, So Kahina began sharing her life on YouTube, where she posted mukbangs and storytimes, quickly building a community that felt more like a group of friends. As her content evolved, she launched “On mange ensemble” on TikTok, a series where she tries out her mother’s homemade dishes. Her lighthearted personality and unique humor have earned her over a million followers on the platform. 

However, So Kahina is now looking to reconnect with her original YouTube audience, who may have felt overlooked as she focused on TikTok and Snapchat, where she has 660k followers. Her goal is to bring fresh, entertaining content to her YouTube channel, collaborating with other creators to bring exciting new ideas to life. 

In addition to her digital career, So Kahina remains deeply involved in her animal shelter. Although a full-time team oversees daily operations, she still makes regular visits to ensure the shelter is running smoothly and the animals are cared for. The project holds a special place in her heart and continues to be one of her proudest achievements.
