In a bid to commend the efforts of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) in fostering positive attitudinal change among Nigerian youths, the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has announced its full support and partnership with NOA.

The announcement comes after an engaging meeting held between the leadership of NANS and NOA on Friday, March 15, 2024.

The President of the Senate, NANS, Sen. Ekundina Segun Elvis, said, “Under the leadership of Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, Director-General of NOA, significant strides have been made in the past four months.

“Notable achievements include spearheading initiatives to revive positive values among Nigerian youth, advocating for the adoption of the second stanza of the National Anthem as the national prayer, and launching the National Value Charter.

“Additionally, NOA has introduced innovative platforms such as ‘The Mobiliser’ app, designed to disseminate government policies and engage Nigerian youths, and plans to establish a Citizen Brigade to train and educate young people on values.”

NANS reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with NOA to promote national values and development.

They urged the public to disregard any misinformation and stand united with NOA in building a prosperous Nigeria.
