160 players, guests compete at foundation charity golf tourney

At least,160 players including guests will
on Saturday, compete in the final round at the DOAM Foundation Charity Golf Tourney.

The charity tournament which is on it’s 13th edition is scheduled to hold at the Golf Section of Ikoyi Club 1938, Ikoyi-Lagos.

The Media Lead for the DOAMFoundation, Ruth Nwachukwu, said: “Following a successful qualifying event earlier this month, approximately 160 players, including esteemed guests, are set to compete in the final round.

“The tournament is celebrated not only for its competitive spirit but also for its unique tournament day experience, featuring a dazzling array of trophies and coveted prizes.

“As the eagerly anticipated Tournament Day for the 13th edition of The DOAM Foundation Charity Golf Tournament approaches, players, sponsors, and partners alike are gearing up for another unforgettable event.

DOAM Foundation has confirmed the growing list of its sponsors and partners to include: Access Bank Plc, ARM Pension Managers, Guinness Nigeria, Sparkle, Globus Bank, Cappa & D‘Alberto, Sims Nigeria, Radial Circle Group, 7-Up Bottling Company, SPAR, Inlaks Computers, Indian Golfers Foundation,GTI Group, Flour Mills of Nigeria, Ikoyi Golfers Community Nigeria Association, IGCNA, Caritas Communications, Chikki Foods Industries, Channels Television, Vacation Places, Metcem, Regency Company, Lekki Free Zone Development Company, and Ikoyi Club 1938.”

Nwachukwu said: “In addition to the thrilling golf action, the tournament day will culminate in a cocktail event in the evening.

“This gathering will not only celebrate the achievements of the day’s winners but also provide an opportunity to recognize and engage with the Foundation’s valued partners and donors.

“The funds being contributed by our corporate partners and kind individuals will play a vital role in helping the Foundation achieve its goals for 2024.

“These include providing scholarship support to indigent but talented children, offering food, relief, and welfare items to orphaned and disabled children’s homes, conducting youth mentorship programs, empowering women through skills acquisition, and supporting various community development initiatives,” Nwachukwu stated.
