The 24th Combined Convocation ceremony of the University of Maiduguri, suspended since 2020 due to COVID-19 and prolonged university lecturers strike, may now hold on 23rd September 2023.

The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Aliyu Shugaba, announced this in Maiduguri, Monday, April 3 when he what he described as daunting challenges and the paucity of funds due to the current cashless policy, the committees would live up to the task to make the convocation a huge success.
