Goals from Edin Dzeko and Denzel Dumfries proved enough to see Inter ease past Victoria Plzen on Tuesday.
The Nerrazurri put up a good performance away from home as they had more chances to have scored more goals.
Plzen had their work cut out for them when they were reduced to 10-man on the hour mark.
This will be the first maximum points Inter will be picking in this season’s UCL after losing their first match to Bayern in the opening round.
Prior to the game in the Czech Republic, the Nerrazurri were a team struggling to find rhythm so far this season losing both to Lazio and AC Milan in Serie A in recent weeks compounded by their defeat at the hands of Bayern last week.
The win against the Czech side put them level on points with Barca ahead of Matchday three encounter between both teams.
