Global Youths Initiative: Transforming young lives

Global Youths Initiative is a non-governmental organisation established to tackle societal problems by building a generation of excellence through inculcating moral qualities into the lives of youths.

This organisation was masterminded by Okolo Great Joshua on 8 June 2018, after observing that bad leaders and corruption, which happen to be the major problems faced in our today’s world, can only be tamed if the youths are well sensitised and morally trained in becoming good individuals.

The initiative has engaged in so many humanitarian activities aimed at transforming young lives over the years.

In September 2018, Global Youth Initiative impacted over 400 youths in OLS secondary school, Kogi State, by distributing writing materials as well as enlightening the youths on the importance and value of education.

In April 2019, a life-changing symposium was organised for undergraduates at Kogi State University, Ayingba.

In the same vein, in June 2019, members of the organisation visited an orphanage home in Ayingba, Kogi State, and distributed materials and cash items — food, clothes, toiletries, and money.

In the same vein, in June 2021, Global Youths Initiative conducted a campaign, distributing over 500 writing materials to pupils in 3-states, viz; Edo, River, and Kwara.

Mr. Joshua, therefore, urged well meaning Nigerians, especially philanthropists to partner with the organisation in transforming young lives.

“We are an organization that believes in community service and we are Using this medium to call on all well meaning youths to be become a member today,” he said.
