Osun NAWOJ honours Egbemode, Akiyode-Afolabi, Akinjiola, others

Prominent Nigerians, who have impacted positively on the well being of women, children and the vulnerable in the society are to be honoured during this year’s Osun NAWOJ Merit Award programme.

According to a release jointly signed by the Chairperson and Secretary of the association, Mrs Motunrayo Ayegbayo and Mrs Florence Babasola respectively, the event is to serve as an encouragement for the awardees.

Besides, former chairpersons who have steered the ship of Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) in Osun State would be given Certificate of Recognition at the event.

Listed for awards at the event scheduled to hold on Saturday, 13th April, 2019 at Leisure Spring Hotel, Iwo/Ibadan Road, Osogbo; are the President, Nigeria Guild of Editors, Mrs. Olufunke Egbemode, Coordinator, Women Advocates Research and Documentation Center (WARDC), Mrs. Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi, the Director-General, Osun State Broadcasting Corporation, Mrs Adejumoke Akijiola.
