ABUJA: The Federal Government has appointed a new Controller General for the Federal Fire Service following the retirement of the erstwhile Controller General, Engr. Garba Joseph Anebi from Benue state.

The new fire service helmsman, Alhaji Ibrahim Liman who hails from Niger state was, before his appointment, the Assistant Controller General in charge of Policy, Regulatory and Inspectorate.
He was, at one time, with the Federal Capital Territory FCT Fire Service before his redeployment to the Federal Fire Service.
