Video of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Kola Okunola, DCP, who was deployed to the Bayelsa East Senatorial District to monitor the Saturday’s election, being molested by alleged political thugs has emerged.

DCP Okunola’s photograph had gone viral on social media, with some alleging the police DCP was abducted by the thugs.

But the Bayelsa State Police Command, in a statement, denied the officer was abducted. It however said the DCP was safe, after he was man-handled by the thugs for refusing to append his signature on a forged election result.
