Tasty Time refutes fire outbreak at its factory

The management of Tasty Time Nigeria Ltd, has refuted reports of fire outbreak at its Lagos factory.

Some sections of the media had reported that a team of policemen and fire-fighters had Friday last week put out an inferno at the company’s Ipaja factory.

Reacting to the report, the Managing Director of Tasty Time, Mr Isaac Kole, in a statement said that there was no fire outbreak at its factory in Lagos.

Kole noted that the only fire incident to his knowledge on Friday last week was at a building on same street with its factory located at Ipaja, Ayobo area.

He stated that the affected building does not belong to his company and neither does the company use it for any of its production activities.

“The management of Tasty Time Nigeria Ltd, wishes to express its displeasure at an erroneous report about a fire outbreak near our factory in Lagos.

“We wish to state that there was no fire outbreak at any of our factories in Lagos. The fire incident referred to in some media reports, took place at a building located on same street at Ipaja Ayobo with our factory. The building does not belong to Tasty Time neither do we use it for any production activity,” Kole said.

He urged the public to ignore the erroneous report and assured its numerous customers that production of all it products at its factory is going on uninterrupted.
