Banky W to run for House of Reps.
Popular Artiste, Bankole Wellington, a.k.a Banky W, has described the election as smooth and peaceful.
Banky WWellington, candidate of Modern Democracy Party, contesting for the House of Representative, Eti-Osa Local Government Area of the state, voted at Polling unit 016, at the Lagos State Model school, Marwa, Lekki Phase 1, Eti-Osa Local Government Area of Lagos state.

He said, however, that the process was stressful.
“Apart from the fact that voters arrived as early as 6:30am, voting did not begin until 11:00am and ended at 5:30 pm.
“However, I want to commend members of the community who conducted themselves in an orderly manner.
“The INEC officials arrived late at the venue, but we organised ourselves as a community and put in place a process that will make the exercise smooth. “
NAN reports that voting ended at PU 016 at 5:30pm while sorting and counting of ballot papers started at 6:00pm and was ongoing at the time of this report.
Counting of votes is still ongoing for the position he is seeking at the time of this report. (NAN)
