A middle-aged man, one Ademo Oluwaseun Olamide on Monday, Onipanu area of Lagos State escaped death by whiskers after angry mobbed descended on him over his alleged involvement in gay practices.
The man, who was said to have relocated to that area some weeks back to meet his partner, whose name was not given was alleged to have been caught in the act.
Problem started for Olamide in the early hours of Monday when news broke that the he and his partner were seen kissing publicly at a nearby restaurant.

The angry mob and residents of the area were said to have attacked Olamide and his friend and were almost lynched before some by-passers came to their rescue.
It was gathered that the mob insisted on teaching Olamide and his partner some lessons but were prevented by the by-passers who took them away.
It was reliably gathered that Olamide had not been seen in the area since then while his partner was said to have also moved out of the area.
The Police in Lagos State, it will be recalled had warned against same sex relationships, especially gay practices.
