Maiden Eko excellence awards call for nominations

In a bid to recognize and celebrate individuals and corporate organizations who embody a spirit of excellence creative and entrepreneurship drive across the city of Lagos, Newaves Innovations has launched an online call starting March 1, 2019 for the opening of activities to host the maiden ‘EKO EXCELLENCE AWARDS’ scheduled to take place in November 2019 in Lagos.

According to the Newave Director, corporate communications Mr. Mine Duke, “The vision is for EKO Excellence Awards to become the reference point for recognizing excellence, global best practices, brilliant leadership and professionalism of individuals and corporate organizations in the city of Lagos; Africa’s fastest growing mega city.

The awards will recognize outstanding product accomplishment, excellent service delivery, people driven initiatives, and corporate excellence of organizations across all strata of the ‘Eko community.”

Speaking from the Lagos office, he noted that the 21st century technology world is faced with the urgency to deliver improved and effective value driven services, usually with limited resources. Individuals and corporate organizations are under pressure to adopt innovative approaches and solutions that reduces spending while prioritizing and fast tracking service delivery.

In his words, “It behooves on us the responsibility to create a world class awards that supports the recognition of individuals and corporate organizations pioneering several innovative practices and processes in the city of Lagos, Nigeria.”

The call for nomination invites the general public to nominate individuals, enterprises, corporations, multinationals and non-government institutions with operations in the city of Lagos; Nigeria, for the maiden edition of the awards.
