ASABA—In a bid to promote creativity among the youths of Niger Delta, promoter of the 2018 Niger Delta Fashion and Design Week, Miss Rita Ojo, has said the event would stimulate the business potentials of youths in the region.

Ojo, in a statement made available to Vanguard, said it would boost what she described as the fast-growing fashion business in the area.

She said:  “The multi-facet event with the theme: Creativity for Enterprise is aimed at promoting the business of fashion in the region, nurturing emerging talent, and creating a platform for designers to showcase their work to a targeted audience.

“It is also a means to identify untapped local and regional markets that will strengthen small and medium scale businesses in the fast-growing fashion industry and foster peace and unity in the region.

“The Niger Delta Fashion and Design Week 2018 will galvanise the region to be the global focus for creativity and commerce by creating opportunities for brand visibility and trade for indigenous businesses. The NDFDW 2018 will feature consumer-focused retail exhibition.
