Lawrence Emareyo: Man with passion for less privilege

Born on February 4, 1987, Chief Lawrence Emareyo has continued to impact positively on lives of anyone that comes across him.

Aside being a revered Nigerian philanthropist, Lawrence Emareyo is the Chairman of IBila Empire, IBILA Information Technology institute, IBILA Transportation line& logistics, IBILA Farms, IBILA Dredging company and founder of the Lawrence Emareyo foundation.

Lawrence Emareyo Foundation is a charity organization that works mostly with poor children in Delta State.

The organization offers programmes that expand education, improve health, create businesses, and protect the lives of poor people and the under-privileged in society.

The foundation works to help people meet the needs like food, water, and shelter along with programming that helps people to better prepare for the future.

Lawrence Emareyo, The Great, as he is fondly referred to holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree with the Leaders without borders Development Centre United Arab Emirates.

He hails from Oteri community in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

In a quest to acquire more knowledge, he got two degrees in Mathematics/Statistics at the prestigious University of Port-Harcort and a Master of Business Administration from University of Abuja.

Lawrence Emareyo is happily married to Ibisobia Lawrence Emareyo (Aduviekeya) an entrepreneur cum Culinary Chef.

His charity work never goes unrecognized; in 2019 Unique Global Peace Initiative of Nigeria, granted Chief Lawrence Emareyo the title of Peace Ambassador of Nigeria and Amnesty International.

He was also awarded as Africa most Celebrated Philanthropist/International youth influencer of the year award on February 28, 2018 by One Africa foundation.

In addition, Emareyo was awarded for his “remarkable contribution” to the entertainment industry during the Urhobo Network Award’s of Excellence which held in August 2019.

Topping it all, few months into 2020, Lawrence Emareyo received the Leadership Award in Business and Philanthropy from the Leaders without Borders Development Centre United Arab Emirate.
