Elizade varsity offers employment to 16 first class students

AKURE—AUTHORITIES of Elizade University, Ilara-Mokin in Ondo State has offered the 16 graduating students who bagged first class degrees automatic employment.

The institution equally promised  to encourage them to further their studies to Masters and Doctorate degrees.

Addressing newsmen ahead of the second convocation slated for Thursday April 26 and Friday 27th, the Chairman, ceremonies and  honours  committee, Chief Omololu Adegbenro said that 105 students in 31 programmes, covering five different faculties will be conferred with degrees.

All the degrees of the university, Adegbenro noted, have the blessing of the National University Commission, NUC.

He said the Convocation lecture, titled ‘Tending The Tree of Commencement’,  will be delivered on Thursday 26th April, by nobel laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka.

He appealed to the federal government to assist the University by allowing it to benefit from TETFUND.
