Wunderman Nigeria Limited, a wholly-owned indigenous customer-focused marketing communications company, has realigned its relationship with the global Wunderman Group and rebranded as Javelin-Wunderman  Communications.

A statement issued by the management of  Wunderman Nigeria Limited said since inception in 2006, the company has always been an affiliate of the global Wunderman Group and will continue in that role across West and Central Africa regions.

In readiness for a closer relationship with the Group, Wunderman Nigeria Limited became Javelin Communications Limited hence the new identity – Javelin-Wunderman.

The statement added, “Our intentions are clear and focused, which is why we are excited to announce our new identity effective today as we are now Javelin-WUNDERMAN Communications. There is no doubt that the network will continue to provide the much needed platform for us to connect and express our creative ideas to both our local and global clients.

By this development, we are better positioned to serve and protect the interest of our esteemed clients. The network provides unique opportunities for members of the group to leverage on the group’s existing pool of business opportunities for purposes of exploring and expanding its business prospects”

It will be recalled that Wunderman Group changed its identity to an iconic logo and stylish uppercase slim name-type/font last year.  WUNDERMAN, a WPP company, is a leading global digital agency headquartered in New York, which combines creativity and data into work that inspires consumers’ action, as well as deliver results for brands in 175 offices in 60 markets across the world.
