…As ex-pdp chairmen endorse him

The Coordinator of Delta Political Vanguard, Warri South-West local government area, Ambassador Andrew Omagbemi Igban, has expressed optimism for a greater Delta State with the re-election of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for second term.

Igban, who spoke during a mega rally organized by the group to mobilize support for the PDP-led administration in the state, noted that Okowa has done well and deserves another term.

The Coordinator, an aspirant for Delta State House of Assembly, Warri South-West, added,  “Okowa’s predecessors in office had their two terms. For equity, justice, fairplay and a stronger Delta, the governor should be allowed to complete his two terms”.

Meanwhile, the Forum of Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) Chairmen in Delta State from 2008 to 2016 have unanimously passed a vote of confidence on Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for second term come 2019.

In a four-point communiqué issued at the end of its meeting at Agbor, the group expressed satisfaction with the performance of the governor.

In the communique signed by Engineer Dan Ossai, the forum particularly acknowledged the  multi- sectoral development projects being executed by the state government across the state.
