Oilserv donates 66kVA generating set to Mopol 25, Azumini

As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, Oilserv Limited, has donated a 66KVA generating set to the MOPOL 25, Azumini in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State.

The generator which was officially presented on Friday, January 5, 2018, will boost the operations of the Mobile Policemen by providing electricity to the barrack which was hitherto challenged by inadequate power supply.

While receiving the generator, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Giwa Abiodun, expressed delight at the gesture and thanked the company for what he described as a laudable effort.

“On behalf of Mopol 25 Azumini, I want to thank the Management of Oilserv Limited for deeming it necessary and appropriate to donate this 66 KVA generating set to us. This generator will indeed, improve our operations. I reassure you that we will continue to do our best in providing security to the people.’’

He added that the unit will make the best use of the generating set.

The Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer of Oilserv Limited, Engr. Emeka Okwuosa explained that the donation was part of the company’s CSR activities aimed at giving back to the society.

Okwuosa underscored the need to support security agents in their quest to fight crime and maintain peace and order.

He reiterated that Oilserv Limited is poised and positioned to be not only the leading Engineering, Procurement and Construction, EPC company in Nigeria, but also the top-choice company in the pipelines and facility business.

He noted that the company has delivered various key projects with high safety and quality standards, including the 67km x 48” Lot B, East-West Gas Pipeline (Obiafo/Obrikom to Oben- OB3) which is over 95 per cent completed and will be delivered to clients in a few months.
