Knights of Saint Mulumba Nigeria (KSM) have called on Nigerian parents to train their children to imbibe family values for the betterment of the society, newsmen report.
This call was contained in a communiqué signed by the society acting Supreme Knight, Brother Diamond Ovueraye at the end of her 38th annual convention in Lagos with the theme: “Family Values, Human Rights and the Challenges of Modernization in Nigeria”.
Observing that family values have been eroded and human rights bastardized be-cause of modernization, the Society advocated strict parental guidance in the growth and development of the children.
The group also urged the society to avail itself of the moral compass provided by the Catholic Church to ensure that there is unity, commitment and indissolubility in marriage in order to keep the family together.
