OLEH—BUHARI Volunteers Movement, BVM, yesterday, said the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress, APC, administration had repositioned Nigeria for greatness.
Interacting with newsmen at Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area, Delta State, National Coordinator of the group, Paul Michael, described Buhari as a man willing to sacrifice his later years to set Nigeria on the right path.
He said: “When we supported and worked for the emergence of Buhari, we did it simply to ensure that the path of Nigeria is redirected from corruption to a path of growth and development, where transparency and accountability become the hallmark of governance. We knew, however, that it was not going to be easy to ‘change’ Nigerians and Nigeria, since corruption has been a norm and taken grip of every sector of the country. We had confidence on the capability of President Muhammadu Buhari in taming corruption.
“Today, despite the dwindling and epileptic economy that was inherited by the Buhari administration, every sincere Nigerian can say prudence has returned to government and the economy has stabilized.”
