ASABA—DELTA State Government, yesterday, said it had trained and empowered no fewer than 2,324 Deltans through its Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme, STEP, and Youth Agricultural Entrepreneurs Programme, YAGEP, in the last two years.
The state’s Chief Job Creation Officer, Professor Eric Eboh, who disclosed this at a briefing in Asaba, said the beneficiaries of the STEP and YAGEP would hold Exhibition and Business fair on December 13 and 14, 2017 in Asaba.
Eboh said the exhibition and business fair would “showcase STEPreneurs and YAGEPreneurs who were trained and established by the state government under its STEP and YAGEP programme and thereby offer them a platform and ladder for growth and sustenance.”
Saying the event would provide STEPreneurs and YAGEPreneurs an opportunity to “make vital business contacts; create business relationships with investors and communicate their business vision to banks and business support institutions from within and outside Delta State.”
