OLEH—CHAIRMAN of All Progressives Congress, APC, in Delta State, Prophet Jones Erue, has said that the party will bring the “wanton rigging” by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, to an end in the January 6, 2018 local government elections in the state.

Speaking in Oleh during the flag-off of the party’s campaign for the council elections in Isoko South Local Government Area of the state, Erue urged party faithful to be vigilant and ensure that their votes count “as the era of result writing has gone for good.”
Erue, who handed the APC’s flag to the party’s chairmanship candidate, Lady Victoria Owofasa, assured her and the councillorship candidates that the party was solidly behind them, saying that any attempt to truncate the wish of the electorate will be resisted.
Earlier, the Isoko South council chairman of APC, Mr. John Urete, noted that the wind of change blowing across Nigeria had arrived Delta State, urging party members to go to all parts of the council to propagate the good policies of the APC to the people.
On her part, the chairmanship candidate of the party, Lady Owofasa, promised to ensure the delivery of the dividends of democracy to the Isoko South people in accordance to the APC manifesto if elected.
