2018 World Cup: Super Eagles opponent pick base

Croatia, Super Eagles first opponent at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia have settled on where the team will camp during their campaign.

The team made up of football heavy weights like Luka Modric, Ivan Rakitic, Mario Mandzukic and Ivan Perisic will stay at the Forest Rhapsody Resort near St. Petersburg.

This revelation was made via the official twitter handle of the national team on Friday.

The Zlatko Dalić led side finished only second from Group I in qualification and had to rely on an inspired team effort against Greece to join the train to Russia.

Also in the same qualification group was Iceand who they will face again during the mundial.

Croatia’s best outing at the FIFA World Cup was a third place finish at the 1998 finals in France which was their first ever appearance.

Nigeria will tackle Croatia on the 16th of June 2018 at the Kaliningrad Stadium.
