Lagos—Lluvia Health Organisation in collaboration with Cussons Baby and Premier has renovated the Olikoye Ransome-Kuti Children Emergency Centre of the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Lagos.
Speaking at the event, which also witnessed the donation of equipment to the institution, Director, Lluvia Health Organisation, Dr. Amenze Eguavoen, said the renovated centre and equipment would cater for the health, social and psychological needs of the children and caregivers.
Equavoen said the medical intervention was aimed at combating the high rate of child mortality in the country.
She said: “What we have done is to equip the needs of patients and the hospital. We have decided to go beyond just equipment and infrastructure to actually attend to the social and psychological needs of the children and their caregivers.”
