DELTA State Commissioner for Transport, Mr Vincent Uduaghan, yesterday described the immediate past Chairman of Itsekiri Leaders of Thought Pa Johnson Oritsegubemi Sunday Ayomike, who passed on at the age of 90, on Wednesday 4th October 2017,   as an elder state man who worked tirelessly for the development of Itsekiri nation.

Uduaghan in a chat with Vanguard said, late Pa Ayomike was an excellent writer and a custodian of history who served the Itsekiri nation with all his life.

According to the Commissioner, “the late Pa Ayomike was a Nationalist and  a dogged fighter who always towed the path of peace and justices.

“I commiserate with the Ayomike family and the Itsekiri nation on the demise of a patriot and bright builder Pa J.O.S. Ayomike.

“He will be remembered for advocating the Itsekiri causes at all times”he added.

The Commissioner prayed God Almighty to grant the family and the Itsekiri nation the fortitude to bear the great loss.
