Pilgrims circumbulating the Kaaba (tawaf) yesterday. It is one of the important rite when a pilgrim visits the Haram first for Umurah or Hajj rites.
As activities for this year’s hajj draw to a close in Makkah, pilgrims sponsored by Folawiyo group of companies have continued to pour encomiums on the companies managed by Mr Tunde Folawiyo just as several sessions of prayers were held for the soul of the founder of the companies, Late Abdulwahab Iyanda Folawiyo, at Mount Arafah and Masajida Al Haram, both in Makkah and Madinah.
The company had fully sponsored over 50 pilgrims to this year hajj as part of the legacies of its late founder.
Intense prayers were held for the late Baba Adini of Nigeria as well as Folawiyo conglomerate at the Mount Arafah beseeching Allah to reward the sponsors abundantly. The Amir of the group, Alhaji Gafar Abolore urged the pilgrims to maximise the opportunity with a view to changing their situation through fervent prayers, adding that the conglomerate led by Mr Tunde Folawiyo will continue to assist Muslims in achieving the ones-in-a-life-time dream.
One of the pilgrims, Haroon Ajeniya praised the philanthropic initiative of the CEO and Group Managing Director, who he described as the true Afenifere, meaning someone who is truly passionate about the good of others.
The pilgrims who are currently in Makkah with other pilgrims from Lagos state will be airlifted back to the country on or before 25th of this month.
