FORMER Minister of State for Transportation, Prince John Emeka, has joined the race for the PDP ticket, vowing to use his private sector experience to lift the state out of poverty.
He said,“I am running for governor so that I will fight for the cause you and I believe in. As your governor, I will strive to end poverty and restore our core social values. I have a mission, an urge, a passion for which I seek this opportunity to fulfil.
“As an entrepreneur, politician, and former minister of the Federal Republic, I believe I have all the experience to provide credible leadership at this hour and time. 2017 gives us that opportunity to choose a leader with strong mind, a great heart, true faith and a ready hand whom the spoil of office cannot sway, someone with honour and integrity, who will not lie. This is the governor I will be.”
He said his administration would focus on the implementation of six point agenda under the Anambra Sustainable Development Action Plan, ANSDAP, with security and dignity of the people being his direct responsibility, adding,”we shall fight crime with modern technology. We shall restore the sacredness and sanctity of human lives. We will improve the present security arrangement in the state.”
