Newly elected board   member   representing the North Central Zone of the Nigeria Table Tennis Federation, NTTF, Olusola Owolabi has praised   the commitment of the new president of the federation, Engineer Ishaku Tikom on his plans to promote the game   of Table Tennis in Nigeria.

Owolabi who is from Kwara state lost gallantly   to the new president after posting 23 votes against the president’s 25 votes in the June 13 election in Abuja.

He stressed that as a zonal representative in the board, he would encourage the leadership to emphasis on grassroot table tennis and International club championship which will give Nigeria the leverage to become African  champions   in table tennis.
