What do we mean by a hunter? A hunter is a man that pursues an animal at a time. A hunter uses his physical strength and energy before he obtains little result. It takes strength to run after an animal and kill it. A hunter will kill an animal and eat it.

A hunter subtracts. This message will help a lot of Christians to really know where they belong. I will dwell mainly on Christianity where a lot of people miss it and also why Africa as a continent will remain behind until the time we can change our orientation and understanding. The reason why Europe and America have economic power today is because they create Idea, to multiply what they have.

In Africa we only focus on whatever we have, without coming up with new ideas on how to multiply whatever we have. In the early 60’s Nigeria only depended on Groundnut pyramid in the north and Cocoa in the south west, all of which have all become history today. The moment petroleum was discovered in Nigeria, we all shifted our attention to oil because it was a money spinning product, then everybody deserted farming. This is one of the reason why when the price of oil nose dives, within just a year Nigerian’s economy went into recession. Nigeria was just spending without thinking of tomorrow. Until Africa as a continent changes from being a hunter and turn to be a cultivator, then Africa is going no where.

If you don’t know what to do to multiply what you have, even if they give you all the riches of this world (oil), you will still end up being poor. These are some of the reasons African nations will always go cap in hand to beg for aid from the European nations. It is only your ideas that make you a master while the ones without an idea ends up being a servant. A hunter uses strength while a cultivator uses Idea. A man of idea uses his brain while a man that can be reffered to as a hunter uses his strength. Thinkers are always on top.

If you are not a thinker you will stink and before you stink you will sink. In the book of Proverbs 12 verse 27, the Bible says ” The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting, but the substance of a diligent man is precious”. Take the case of Nigeria as a nation as an example. Why do we have fuel (oil)  in Nigeria and then take it to other nations to refine? This problem has also eaten deep into the church of God. Most Christians are short of ideas on what to do with their life, what we require our IQ, we waste our time fasting and praying aimlessly. Everything in life is not all about fasting and praying, lot’s of things require you taking positive steps over whatever you need to do.

The economic power of any nation is in the hand of a country that is good in finished products. Now let me go into details on a cultivator. A cultivator uses more of his or her ideas to bring about a positive result. A cultivator increases and also grows what he has. A cultivator knows what to do with the little he has while a hunter kills what he has and eat it. A hunter doesn’t think of tomorrow, it is what he is now that he knows.

As a Christian, until you are able to multiply what you have you cannot go far in life.In the book of Luke 6 verse 38 the bible says ” Give and it shall be given unto you”. It’s a clear cut message. If really you want to grow or succeed more than your present position,you must learn to give God first before expecting something  you  in return.

A cultivator is a man that decided to give to God, even when he  his not expecting God to pay him back. A Cultivator is a tither, if you are a hunter you won’t pay tithe, you won’t contribute to the progress of your church. Remember the book of Matt 6 verse 33 says “Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and every other things will be added to it”.

A few years ago, a man came to me for counselling. After the counselling session, I prayed with him and the following day the man came back and pledged a certain amount of money to appreciate God for granting his request. It was about the position he desired in his office, so the following day he came to pay the vow he willingly made, even before he got what he wanted. No wonder 3 months later the man came back to share his testimony of the exact position he desired being given to him. Brethren take a step of faith by way of using your tithe, seed or vow to trigger what you want. Please take note of these, you can be well educated and still be short of ideas. That is why you see atimes a first class student from the university remaining poor, because he has no idea of what to do next in life. When you are a good tither, you are a man with good ideas. Every tither who understands the principle never lacks ideas that will to prosperity.

What gives wealth is not money, it is the ideas that you have. When you are not a tither you will end up struggling in life. In God’s kingdom today when you are a tither, God gives you ideas to prosper. If you want to enjoy God’s divine empowerment you must learn to be a tither in your church. In the book of Malachi chapter 3 verse 8, the bible says “Will a man rob God, yet you have robbed me, but ye say, wherein have we robbed Thee, in tithes and offerings”. When you don’t pay your tithes, you have robbed God of the ability to bless you in return. Mind you when you are not blessed you’re frustrated. That is why I often tell people that you don’t need too much of stress to succeed in life, you only need too much of sense.
