SOME Islamic groups in Nigeria have mapped out various programmes to engage the Muslim youths meaningfully for the Easter Break.
The Federal Government has declared Friday and Monday as public holidays to mark the Easter period.
Some of the groups are Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN) B-Zone, Obafemi Awolowo University Muslim Graduates Association (UNIFEMGA) , Movement for Islamic Culture and Awareness (MICA) and Badrud-dinil Islamic Circle of Nigeria.
In a statement, the MSSN B-Zone Amir, Mushafau Alaran and Abdulhakeem Kolawole, the IVC organiser stated that the 103rd edition of Islamic Vacation Course will hold in four centres.
The centres are Ibadan for Oyo and Osun delegates, Ondo, for Ekiti, Edo, Delta and Ondo states delegates, Lagos for Ogun and Lagos states while Port Harcourt will be the host for delegates from Rivers and all the Eastern states.
MSSN said the theme for its 103rd IVC camp which would hold simultaneously from Thursday April 13 to Monday April 17, at various centres is “Companions of the Right Hand”.
It said over 35,000 delegates would participate in the exercise across the centres with the formal opening slated for Saturday April 15.
