The party leaders; Chief Tony Erukeme, Chief Julius Ogboru, Prof. Andrew Ekakitie, Chief Johnbull Oviri and Pastor Steve Eruotor who on behalf of the party leaders/elders, described Edoja’s publication as untrue and ploy to misinform the party leaders, said there is faction in the local government.
The party chieftains who advise Edoja on the path of peace, said if there was no faction like he claimed, how come he held a factional congress recently that produces factional chairman, Solomon Okpako, when the authentic local government party chairman, Pastor Steve Eruotor not aware.
They said, “It was aberration on the part of Chief Solomon Edoja who claim to be member of the party to call Chief Johnbull Oviri who just defected to the party a surrogate, and earlier Edoja wakes from his dream and recognize Chief Jerome Manuwa as his ward chairman better for him.
“The task ahead of the party is on how to go for membership drive, reconcile all aggrieved members of the party and to work towards winning all forth coming elections, and not to cause disunity, disharmony, disaffection and holding illegal congresses without the knowledge of the recognized chairman and you say there is no faction.”
