ABUJA-Acting President Yemi Osinbajo has lobbied the leadership National Assembly, urging for the quick passage of the 2017 budget into law.

This was the outcome of a meeting between Osinbajo and the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubo Dogara, members of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s Economic Management Team at his official residence at the Presidential Villa, Abuja Wednesday night.

The meeting which lasted about an hour also featured discussions on the need to ensure that key projects of the Federal Government aimed at enhancing the speedy recovery of the Nigerian economy were taken care of in the appropriations.
