We were paid only three and half months salary in 2016—LAUTECH Doctors
Medical doctors under the employ of two Teaching Hospitals in Oyo State, University College Hospital, (UCH) Ibadan and LAUTECH Teaching Hospital (LTH) Ogbomoso have raised alarm over irregularities in their remuneration, saying that, resident doctors in LTH, Ogbomoso only received three and half month salaries in 2016 while UCH Ibadan resident doctors are yet to get November and December 2016 salary.
Diezani to forfeit $153m to FG, court orders
A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, yesterday, ordered the temporary forfeiture of the sum of $153,310,000, which a former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, allegedly siphoned from the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC and stashed in three banks in the country, namely Sterling Bank Plc, First Bank Plc and Access Bank Plc.
