A lawmaker representing Ovwian Ward 11 in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, Benjamin Sharta, has introduced the stomach infrastructure programme to his ward.

As a result, he has donated food items to over 300 men and women and youths in Ogwuoru, Ekrumowhe, Ozimi, Udurie quarters and Ogoduwor Urban Area (Express Junction) that make up the Ward.

Excited beneficiaries at the programme which took place at Sharta family compound, Ovwian, said it was the first time such a thing was happening in the community.

According to beneficiaries, the lawmaker’s decision must have come from the support he got from members of the communities during campaign.
