HOST Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas, HOSTCOM, Ijaw ethnic nationality, Delta State, has called for the immediate release of leaders of Odimodi community in Iduwini Kingdom, Burutu Local Government Area, of the state arrested over issues linked to the 48 inches Forcados Terminal Export Line owned by the Shell Petroleum Development Company, SPDC.

Speaking in Warri, Delta State, HOSTCOM’s Chairman, Mr. Kingsley Ikiere, frowned at the continued detention of the six leaders, including a driver at the David Ejoor Barracks, Effurun, and called for their release without further delay.

He claimed that they were picked up last Friday in Effurun, Headquarters of Uvwie Local Government Area while returning from a community assignment.
