Fatgbems petroleum rebrands

By Gabriel Olawale

AN independent oil marketing company in Nigeria, Fatgbems Petroleum, has unveiled a new brand identity in line with its commitment to be a customer-driven organisation.

Speaking at the unveiling in Lagos, chairman of the Company, Mr. Ajibola Gbemisola, said that the new brand identity was not a change of direction but restatement of value and commitment to customers.

Gbemisola noted that with the total deregulation of the downstream sector of the oil industry, customers have become sophisticated as they are asking for innovative services beyond just fuelling their vehicles.

“I will like to emphasise that our new brand identity is not a change of direction rather it’s a restatement of our values and our strong commitment to our customers as drivers of our business.”

He stated that the company has grown from a humble beginning in Ejigbo, Lagos. “We now have a tank farm and several stations across Lagos and other states including plans to expand to the Federal Capital Territory.

“Apart from aligning with the thoughts of the Lagos state government in transforming the state into a mega city status, we also feel that customers should buy fuel in an environment that is conducive, hence our investment in this modern station which we hope to replicate in our service stations is in line with our commitment to our customers as drivers of our business,” he said.
