It’s exactly a week to Christmas; when we remember the birth of our Lord Jesus; our Saviour, our Redeemer, the Lamb of God.
When we mark Christmas, its usually time to rejoice but are we all truly rejoicing? Obviously, there are people who simply ask themselves the question, “what am I celebrating?”.
For some people in that condition, it is either they are confronted with some health challenges, or someone is being oppressed by other people.
I can imagine a lady in her 40s or even close to 50 who desires to get married but no man is asking for her hand in marriage. She is likely to ask herself “ what is there to celebrate?”.
Or is it the case of a woman who has been married for over five years and has been expecting to have her biological children? For her, this could be a period of loneliness. When she sees other women taking their children out, it dawns on her how lonely she is though she is married.
These challenges are numerous and the situation in our country isn’t helping matters.
For a woman whose husband has lost his job to man-made recession, she is likely to conclude that her family has nothing to celebrate.
I can imagine a prayer warrior who has spent several nights praying and the answer has not manifested saying to himself or herself, “what am I celebrating?”
But brethren, I tell you there is a lot to celebrate.
Life is worth celebrating. In whatever situation you find yourself, you are still better than someone. If you don’t believe, at least you believe that you are better than the one who is dead.
The miracle you are expecting is worth celebrating? Do I sound unreasonable? Not at all. When we focus on our expectation, then we would realize that there is the need to celebrate. Do not be deceived. What you see is what your receive.
Focus on the miracle – As a Christian, you need to focus on the solution to that challenge. A woman who has been waiting on the Lord to have children must begin to see herself changing diapers. She must allow her inner mind to see herself nursing her babies.
For the lady awaiting a marriage partner, she must see herself in the marriage registry and in her new home.
Once you begin to focus on the solution, then the Holy Spirit of God will bring it to physical manifestation.
I’ll share with you the thoughts of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome; the general overseer of Christ Embassy.
In his daily devotional manual; Raphsody of Realities with the title “Nothing can stop you”, he quoted Mark 9 verse 23 “ Jesus said unto him , “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth”.
The word of God is true. However, you need to take some practical steps to bring in the solution you have been waiting for.
Have you been praying and yet to receive the answers to your prayers?
Take another step. Praise until the miracle appears. Open your mouth and praise the Lord. Sing loud and clear and let your mockers begin to wonder why you are rejoicing. By praising God with thanksgiving songs at every point in time, you are asking the Lord to fast track your miracle.
Believe it brethren, God will surely harken unto you.
Let’s share more of the thoughts of Pastor Oyakhilome . He wrote“ Man, through human wisdom, has accomplished quite a lot. You may have seen roads created in places where there were massive rocks and hills, just because a man came up with the vision and had others who shared his vision. The moment he conceived in his mind to do it, there was no such thing as impossible”.
To buttress his point, he said “ If mere men could do so much, you can imagine how much more God’s people could do through the Word of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit”.
Pastor Chris reminded us “Your ability and potentials as a child of God are limitless. God can, and wants to do so much for you and through you”.
Are you losing hope? Hear this from Pastor Chris, “ There’s no such thing as too old, or too young, if the Word of God is in you. The Word is dateless”.
He adds “If you’d yield to the Holy Spirit, allowing his Word to dominate you, you could determine the extent of your success and nothing in the world can stop you”.
Pastor Chris gave a guide as to what you should do. He suggested, “Just proclaim where you’re going and continue to use the Word to enlighten and enlarge your vision, and the Word will propel you to victory and success”.
Do you now agree with me that you can fast track your miracle? Praise worship is a quick way of connecting with the Holy Spirit . When this happens, the miracle appears. Please don’t say I don’t have a good voice. Sing it the way your Spirit leads you. Sing from the heart not from the lips.
Brethren, you will be surprised what the Lord will do.
Testimony- God can do all things. Let me share this testimony given by a couple during last week’s Laughter Day at Laughter Foundation Christian Ministry.
A couple brought their baby for dedication and the husband told the story of the challenge, they had when the woman was about to put to bed.
According to him, the baby pushed out one of her legs first and the doctors who were alarmed sensing danger, urgently asked him to append his signature for a Caesarean Section. On their part, the medical team got everything ready, but the father of the baby though willing to consent to C/S immediately called the church phone line for prayers and before the doctors could wheel the mother to the theatre, the baby came out. The power of God brought the baby out without surgery.
Let’s share another testimony by Pastor Enoch Adeboye; general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God ( RCCG). It was a case of a couple waiting on the Lord for children and medically they had been told they could never have children. However, they got in contact with the power of God and the woman had a set of twins. Once the twins were born, the husband overwhelmed with joy told the doctors with this set of twins, we don’t need any more babies.
He then instructed the doctors to tie up his wife’s womb. Behold the doctors could not find any womb. The doctor who said he had been involved in such deliveries for decades said he had never seen such a thing.
Pastor Adeboye said this during the Holy Ghost Congress concluded last week.
For me, it wasn’t the first time I heard him mention this miracle.
He said the absence of the womb was for the doctors, a real miracle.
Brethren, what we are saying is that NOTHING is beyond the power of God.
With God all things are possible. His wonders and signs are beyond human comprehension. We only need to believe the Word and victory over every challenge is assured.
Get up and praise God until something happens.
Compliments of the season!
