LORIN—Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki, has tasked members of the national and state assemblies to look beyond the objectives of making laws and focus on issues and steps that would enhance the socio-economic well being of Nigerians and remove the burden of the current economic recession, as Nigerians are preparing for the end of the year.
Speaking at the empowerment programme/launching of RIB Foundation and 50th birthday ceremony of Senator Rafiu Ibrahim at Offa, Kwara State, Saraki said the new directive became necessary because of the need to find ways of addressing the tough economic situation in the country.
