Community to honour former Edo commissioner

The serenely beautiful life of the people of Uzanu community in Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State will be disrupted on December 26, as a former Commissioner in the state, Prince Clem Agba, an illustrious son of the agrarian community will be honoured by the entire Uneme speaking communities in the state.

Prince Agba, who was the state Commissioner for Environment and Public Utility in the Adams Oshiomhole administration for eight years, also at a time doubled as the Chairman, Edo State Tenders Board.

The umbrella body of Uneme communities said he deserved the planned reception for his sterling performance while in office.

President of Uneme National Development Association, UNDA, Mr. Adebayo Akhigbe, who briefed newsmen in Lagos, said that the former Commissioner was the epitome of a modern public servant, who joyfully gave up his job as a top management staff of Chevron Nigeria Limited, to render service to his people leaving behind a sterling record for emulation.

Akhigbe said that UNDA was honouring the Prince for his integrity, passion and selflessness as he contributed immensely to the successes achieved by the Oshiomhole administration for eight years without any negative report on his performance while he held sway.
