By Marie-Therese Nanlong

Jos—Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State has reiterated his commitment to partner the Federal Government in the fight against corruption and appealed to citizens of the state to give their support so that the dream of a corruption-free society would be a reality.

Lalong stated this in Jos yesterday, while declaring open the Plateau State Anti-Corruption Summit, tagged I Support the Fight Against Corruption in Plateau State, which is aimed at strengthening the fight against corruption in the state.

Represented by his deputy, Professor Sonni Tyoden, Lalong said: “The choice of Plateau State for the campaign is an attestation that our commitment, as a government, to the fight against corruption is real and beyond the usual rhetoric that has characterised the campaigns in the past.”
