Odion Ighalo
As Watford striker Odion Ighalo seeks to end his goal drought, team keeper Heurelho Gomes has revealed why the last season goal wonder is yet to find his feet.
Gomes argued that it was because Etienne Capoue is in rich form and has eased the burden on Watford striking duo Ighalo and Troy Deeney.
Deeney and Ighalo scored 28 of Watford’s 40 Premier League goals last season as the newly-promoted side achieved a 13th-placed finish back in the top flight.

Capoue has taken up a more advanced midfield role this season though and is currently the club’s top goalscorer, having netted five times in the current campaign, with the Hornets sat eighth under Walter Mazzarri – who replaced Quique Sanchez Flores at the end of last season.
“This season he [Capoue] has more freedom to go to the box and he’s a type of player that wants to be there,” Gomes told Soccer Saturday.
“He prefers to attack than defend sometimes and that’s his game. Last season was just about Troy and Ighalo to score goals and the other teams, they knew that.’’
