Ex-Edo Dep Speaker drags Police to court over fundamental rights

BENIN—FORMER Deputy Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly and a chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Fred Omogberale, has instituted a legal action against the Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Idris Ibrahim, over the alleged violation of his fundamental rights to personal liberty, privacy, freely assembling and associating with other persons and owning property.
